Hello,
Although it sounds like eczema but eczema presents with dry itchy skin. There is no itchiness in your case. So firstly seborrheic dermatitis has to be ruled out. I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how your son is doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
Thank you for taking the time to comment , the main problem is the face on my skin , what would you recommend for that? I was thinking of using aqueous cream or e45, im not sure if its eczema although it does have the characteristics of that.
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be seborrheic dermatitis. It is a common skin condition that causes flaky, dry, white to yellowish scales to form on oily areas esp. under the nose or anywhere on face. You can treat flaking and dryness with over-the-counter dandruff or medicated shampoos. Shampoo the hair vigorously and frequently (preferably daily). Active ingredients in these shampoos include salicylic acid, coal tar, zinc, resorcin, ketoconazole, or selenium.
If the symptoms persist, then it would be best to get it confirmed from a dermatologist. Eczema has to be ruled out.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep us posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
I have the same thing!Mine has a red rash look to it.All products burn it!
