Penis - PICS White discoloration & tighter foreskin/frenulum

Hi Guys,

First let me say I have been to see my doctor. He has diagnosed Lichen Sclerosis and prescribed me 1% HC cream. (canesten).

I am not too sure if I have LS as it doesn't match many descriptions I have found online.
The pics show the white patches. On the frenulum, they are more like little white spots that surface and can then be scraped away. On the Glans - it shows as non-raised discolored pail patches under the skin.

My foreskin HAS tightened, but not seriously - just noticeably (narrowing of penis whilst fully retracted & erect)
After using the HC cream, I notice fine peeling in areas (seen in pic)
It seems my frenulum is causing most of the minor tightening - I tugged too hard a week ago and actually tore it a little bit and it's still sore (you can see the sore in the pic)

Im looking for more of a second opinion really, can anyone offer advice?

Thanks for your help, I'm due at my Doctor's again next week for a follow up.
I have to say, the Clotrimazole Hydrocortisone cream seems to be reducing the symptoms.

Around the prepuce & frenulum there is a noticeable difference now.
The glans still has the discolouration, but it's not as prominent.

This is with 2 weeks use of the cream.

Did you find out what it was? I've been using canesten for 2 weeks now and it still hasnt improved.

These symptoms can be due to balanoposthitis by a fungal infection other than lichen sclerosus. First of all, you need to get the diagnosis confirmed from your doctor and get a KOH examination of the skin scrapings done to find out whether it is fungal infection.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
