tiny bumps under the eyes.

they look like tiny tiny bumps the color of my skin and they are located where the eyebags are.  They are not itchy or anything but some of them looks like they are getting bigger.  They are visible when you look closely but can be hidden with thick concealer.  What are these and is there a way of getting rid of them?

Hi,

You may have this assessed by your physician. Skin tags may also be a differential. They may not need urgent intervention but if they are warts then your physician may opt to have them removed. A dermatologist will be able to help you. Warts are contagious, while skin tags are not.

Just refrain from touching these bumps unnecessarily. We do not want them to get irritated or infected. Do not apply anything on the area for the moment until an assessment with your physician has been made.

Hi,

One differential for this is filiform warts. Filiform warts are a form of warts but they are smaller and finer. They appear to be a bit elongated also. They usually affect regions of the face and areas near the eyes.

I suggest you have this assessed by a dermatologist. This may not be an urgent case and may be easily resolved .This sounds like a cosmetic problem and your dermatologist may be able to give you options if removal is indicated at this point.

Are the bumps itchy?

Do you have similar skin condition in other parts of the body?
