Atrophic / indentation scar on penis

I decided to manually remove an innocuous papule on the underside of my penis with a finger nail clipper.  Notwithstanding the worst decision of my life, the process left a small atrophic / indentation scar.  B/c of its location, being just a little left of center and near the head of my penis, I'm worried.  It's been 4 months since this happened and it hasn't gone away, although it's no longer red.  What options do I have?  I've been wearing silicon sheets over it in the hopes it would raise to an even level and I also tried derma rolling without luck.  I've been thinking laser treatment of some variety is my only option or even manual dermasanding.  What are your thoughts?

I realize I should consult a doctor, but I'm embarrassed.  Should I see a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon?  I live in Washington (state), can anyone recommend someone for this procedure?

Did you ever get the scar removed?

Went to the derm. who didn't feel I should do anything about it.  He said it's not very noticeable besides.

It's such a frustrating process when I get the courage to go and get that kind of advice.  I realize it's a cosmetic procedure, but that's why I'm there.  And to boot I paid several hundred dollars for a consultation fee.

I'm still looking for advice and for any doctors that might be willing to resurface the area.

You shouldn't feel embarrassed to see a doctor .. they see everything I'm sure.  Probably shouldn't do anything else on your own ... you don't want an infection.

Keep us posted!
