Raised shiny spots on glans

Hello,

I'm curious about a few raised, shiny spots I have on the head of my penis. The spots do not hurt, itch, or discharge anything. I had a doctor look at them and he gave me some strong hydrocortisone. This did help the problem for a bit, but they seem to reappear. I have been in a monogamous relationship for 5 years and the doctor agreed that they were probably not an STD.

Does anyone know what they might be? The flash on the camera enhanced the shininess of the spots -- they normally do not stick out that much.

Thanks

Just wanted to let you know, I dug through my drawer and noticed that almost all of my boxers and briefs are 90/10 cotton/polyester. I was able to find a few pairs that were labeled 100% cotton. The difference in 24 hours has been night and day. Although the spots have not totally disappeared, they are well on their way. Thank you very much for the suggestion!

Because I promise you guy! I get this same thing from allergy to polyester when I let even the polyester/cotton mix thread" touch my penis. I wear all cotton boxers, inside out so the thread is on the outside away from my skin, turn them to the side so the line of thread against me is off to the side and not touching it, and then also fold the waistband over once so that is away from me too. If my boxers turn or my penis shifts "as it does at times" or I forget to make sure the crotch is low and not up against me when I sit  by pulling them low then first, then I itch and begin to react. Most people have a delayed reaction, but I have instant most times. So I feel at least the itch, immediately. But sometimes I can be stoned or drinking and not feel it, and forget. And later on My penis looks like yours. So I know!

Get yourself some cotton briefs, instead of those boxers you wear. it is one way to rule out an allergic reaction quickly and at little cost. If you get better you will know. if not you will keep searching.

Hello,
Since you have been in a monogamous relationship, so it rules out the possibility of a STD. from the symptoms and picture, it looks like Fordyce spots. They present as bright red, shiny or purple papules that can appear on the glans, shaft or scrotum and usually affect younger men. You cannot remove them at home and specialized methods to remove them are needed.
I sincerely hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.

Thank you for your comment. I can have easily irritable skin as well (for example, I'm unable to use scented deodorant) so the reaction to clothing is a good possibility.

When you say "blisters", do you mean the kind that would actually pop and drain? Because these don't. They're just raised areas.

Just a comment.
I used to get those. But then again, I have a severe skin condition which sometimes got bad enough that the head would feel chafe too. But I have a a condition called ACD in which the polyester in my underwear would do that to me. And now I wear all cotton, and because they still use polyester threads in all cotton clothing I still got it from the threads in my boxers fly. So I wear them inside out and turn them so the fly is over to the right of my penis. This way, most thread is on the outside, and the inside is so little that it only breaks my leg out when I am worn down or tired out. Used to make my scrotum kinda numb and shrunken too. And itch a lot at times.
They are small blisters. Usually called water papsules in the groin area.
Come from friction, allergy to polyester, and I forgot what else. Anyways, I hope the doctor can answer your question. Don't look like any STD to me, but I am not doctor.
