Recurrent Athlete's Foot Turned to A Mess

Hello all,

I've off and on Athlete's foot on my right sole, specifically on the fingers and upper planter region. The other foot and heels of right foot have been fungus free. I use Dermasporin topical solution but not so regularly. For the last two weeks, I've seen deterioration to an extent that it turned to bacterial infection with pus and blood oozing out. I also had persistent low-grade fever. I contacted my local GP and he prescribed Augmentin 625mg/ three times a day for a week. He also drained the pus and recommended daily bandage change. Taking the first pill alone killed the fever but the pus hasn't improved much. Is the treatment regimen fine or should I see some dermatologist? It's quite expensive here to see one where I live though. How long should I go for bandage?

Just to add: There are corns and calluses on the upper planter with pus pockets.
