Acne / Pus analysis: no bacteria found.

Hi,
I'm suffering acne since the age of 13 (I'm 32 now). I have been on accutane twice, and it got better for some years only. I'm having a terrible flare up now (it started two months ago) around my mouth and upper lip, but also I have one or two cysts in my ear lobes. I was diagnosed perioral dermatitis by my dermatologist and put on doxycline plus some topic treatment and got my pus analyzed. I got the results and no bacteria or fungus has been found.
I have been on the antibiotics for 13 days now and no improvement so far (I would say it got worse).

I have my appointment with the dermatologist next week, and since I'm really worried, I would like to ask you if this is a normal finding (no bacteria or fungus in my pus) and whether this gives any clue about what could be the cause of my acne.

I'm getting a deep hormone test done next week. I also got tested for food intolerances and found I am intolerant to casein, cow and goat milk, cola, egg white, rice, etc. I cut eating milk or any processed products containing milk a couple of weeks ago but no results yet.

I will appreciate any help you can give me.

I want to tell you the truth- American medical system is a deep ****! Stop going to doctors and don't waste your time, money and nerves... I got to admit that American dermatologist are the worse in the world! They don't know anything... all they want is your money!!!  Big pharma makes billions on sick people selling them nasty pills which cause new health problems in the future... Big pharma don't let anyone to bring new tecnologies from other countries... so there is no progress in dermatology and some other medical feilds! I've had big negative experience with American doctors. The ONLY way you can get rid of your acne and enjoy life like other people is - you got to go to Moscow or Kiev!!! they will check your full body with computer diagnostic, do skin tests and do many analisys on special equipment from Europe, ultra sound for your stomach and liver... very professional doctors and different medication american docs don't know about... I'm going to Russia soon, I can take a few people who want to get rid of acne forever!
