Red spot on nose for over a year now

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone would know what this red spot on my nose is and how i could get rid of it. It just looks like a pimple but its been permanent and it doesn't feel like a bump, there is a smaller one above as well but i haven't noticed that being there long. Any way i could get rid of it on my own? Been there over a year now and kind of annoying me.

My wife had her dermatologist remove a red spot on her nose about a year ago.  It was a relatively simple procedure and really left zero marks on her nose.  We had teased her the she had a helicopter landing pad on her nose
