Ringworm

Hello, 2 weeks ago I was diagnosed with a ringworm infection (1 large spot on my back). Was prescribed Canestan (1% Clotrimazole cream). Been applying twice a day and my welt was starting to clear up. Last night I noticed 2 other welts on my stomach! Now I have 2 questions:

1) How does one catch ringworm? I haven't been in direct skin-to-skin contact with another person. Could I had neglected to properly disinfect my shower or wash often my towels/linens?
2) How infectious is ringworm? I've been thoroughly cleaning/disinfecting clothes, linens, shower for 2 weeks now. Could I have reinfected myself by mistake using the same soap bar or cleaning product?

Thanks and Happy Easter!
