Savlon burn

I had a wound on my leg and i cleaned the surrounding area with undiluted savlon. I had severe pain on touching , redness along with burn marks on my calf area.i used mupirocin ointment at night . Now iam struggling with itching on affected area. Please help

Hello and thank you for your question on the forum.  Savlon can have side effects associated with it which include skin irritation and rash.  It is considered somewhat rare but you may be one of the 'lucky' ones.  https://www.drugs.com/uk/savlon-antiseptic-cream-leaflet.html  If it was the liquid version, this can cause something like a chemical burn.  If your symptoms persist, we recommend seeing your doctor for guidance.
