Self removal of cherry angioma?

I have a cherry angioma on my chest and it protudes quite a bit. I want to get rid of it but not have health insurance. Is it bad to just pop it myself with a needle? I know it will be bleed but will it just continue to stay raised or will it at least flatten out?

I have these from time to time.  I burn them off using 'canned air', the stuff that you can buy for cleaning cameras, etc.  You can get it at staples.     Put the tiny red nozzle-tube on the can, invert it, and give a medium burst.  When the angioma turns white, it's frozen.  It will quickly thaw, but after a week or so it will scab over and eventually fall off, leaving a small scar which will eventually fade.

I wouldn't try to freeze all of your spots at once- do one or two to start and see how your body reacts.

good luck

Hello,
Cherry angioma is a cherry-red to purple colored benign skin tumor of unknown origin that appears most frequently after age 40.Pls DON’T try to remove them on your own. They bleed profusely when they are injured.

The treatment options include cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen, electrosurgery or laser vaporization.Pls discuss these options with your dermatologist.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Warm regards.
