Skin Clues?

Hi. I'm having a hard time getting my condition diagnosed. I'm beginning to wonder if my skin might offer some clues...
Dark, scaly rings under eyes.

Reddish Rash on upper cheeks and lower neck ( that has persisted for months ).

Skin is easily "impressioned." I mean, red marks are left on my skin by making prolonged contact with something. It is temporary, but abnormal for me.

Angiomas/Petechai on abdomen that showed up about the same time as other symptoms.

Skin has a "dried out appearance." Particularly my hands, where the skin looks slightly shriveled.

I'd appreciate any input as I am trying to be active in helping my Dr. figure out some internal issues.

Oh yes. Most of my skin symptoms showed up together.

As a whole, my skin seems to be progressively drying out.

This is the first time I have looked into the Dermatology aspect. I figured they were secondary symptoms of something internal. I was concerned about my Liver, but so far tests have revealed no permanent damage.

I do have photosensitivity as well as my more serious concerns of fatigue, weakness, constant thirst/urination, weight loss, and cognitive problems.

I have been tested for autoimmune, once I think. Do you think a Dermatologist might be able to help with a diagnosis?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

Did all these signs and symptoms occur at the same time?

I am thinking along the line of dermatitis, photosensitivity and autoimmune disorder. These are just differentials .You have mentioned of rash and redness over the cheek which may be a photosensitivity reaction. Photosensitivity reactions have varying types and this may include solar urticaria and chemical photosensitivity. Dermatographia wherein raised portions of the skin manifest after pressure may be a form of hypersensitivity reaction (much like hives) . The cause of this is not clear.

If the symptoms are persistent, a skin biopsy may be able to help establish a diagnosis. A rheumatology referral to ascertain ANA levels and other parameters to rule out autoimmune related disorders may be necessary.

Have you been discussed along this line?
