Skin getting stiff?

Hello. I have been told by a dermatologist that I have acne and keratoses pilaris. The keratoses pilaris started on my upper shoulders a few moths ago but seems to have spread to my face as well. Since I've been to the dermatologist, I've now noticed that my forehead skin feels stiff and tight. When I pinch the skin, it feels hard. I'm getting lines/wrinkles between my eyebrows and can feel the stiffness when a raise my eyebrows. What could be causing this?

There doesn't seem to be any numbness, tingling or burning. Just hard skin. It has no elasticity. When i pinch it, the surface turns red and it makes a crease in my skin. Based on your answer, it sounds like I should be concerned.

Hi,

I have to clarify if the stiffness is the same as numbness.  Are there other signs or symptoms present? Any type of tingling, burning, or numbness is usually a symptom related to a sensory nerve being damaged, diseased, or injured. Causes depend on the exact location of the paresthesia sensations, but typically include a physical nerve injury type condition or a disease condition affecting the nerves such as neuropathy.

If it persists, it would be best to have this evaluated further by your doctor. Take care and regards.
