i also forgot to say that it also gets itchy when my cheeks get hot.
- i have replaced my makeup many times
- tried cutting out bad foods
- tried different creams and cleansers, toners
- face packs
nothing seems to get rid of the problem. it cant be eczema because sometimes my skin is clear and soft. other days i have the problem. is that right?

Hi,
Rashes that appear and disappear on their own are usually allergic in nature. The pathological reaction that takes place on your skin due to foreign particles is considered as allergy rash.

The body's immune system reacts adversely to a substance and produces a chemical called histamine which is responsible for the feeling of warmth, rashes and the itchiness.

You can take anti-histamines like Cetrizine/Loratidine when it appears and also apply anti-itch lotions to fet relief from the symptoms.

There is no real cure to allergies, if you can find out what triggers it off you can then avoid it to reduce the recurrence of outbreaks.
