destroyed hair

Hi I have a serious problem, I bleached my hair 6months ago and my hair was like straw an tuggy, I lost some of my hair. I have now went back to my natural colour which is dark brown and I still have the same problem my hair is tuggy and my ends are really dry I use conditioner in my hair as well as shampoo and my hair is still tuggy an straw I've tried spray for hair repair and didn't work, I've left conditioner in my hair all night and still not worked. When I dry my hair on cool or warm its still the same, I haven't had my hair cut since because I'm scared an embarrased incase my hair needs to get cut short because of this. I bought hair extensions see if it would look better but no because you can see the knoted tangly knots etc. What should I do? Do I take my chance and go to hairdresser an get it cut because I have tried everything and nothing has worked. Please help me it gets me down everyday looking at my hair and brushing it  is really tough

By tuggy do you mean tangled?
I damaged my hair years ago by using Sun-In (a college friend had used it years earlier and not had a problem so I tried it, which was a bad mistake).  I recall it felt like there was maple syrup in my hair when I tried to brush it.  Usually damaged hair should be cut. Maybe you can get a cute short cut and just grit your teeth and wait for it to grow.  If you live in a cold climate, you can wear a hat alot if you don't like the cut you get, until it grows out a little ( I have done that!).  I cut my hair and while I miss my nice curls, at least I can always brush or comb through it.  Always use a wide-toothed comb on your wet hair.  You can use it in the shower after combing conditioner through.
There are some conditioners that are better for damaged hair, Nexxus Humectress can help with detangling.  Wen Sweet Almond Mint ReMoist Intensive Conditioning Treatment (it is thick and comes in a tub not a tube), or Aveda Reconstructing Conditioner (this may have a new name now as I don't have it here right now but used it alot in the past for my damaged hair)  are both great for damaged hair.  Also there are some detangling sprays which help alot. Actually, I used the Wen system exclusively for a while until I cut my hair because that was the only way to guarantee I could comb it out after washing.   But the main thing is to cut it and wait for it to grow again.  I also don't blow-dry my hair.
If you are relatively young, which I suspect you are, it would keep your hair healthier to just stick with the natural color.  If you go gray in the future you can color it then, if that bothers you.

The new hair growth will be healthy in any case, since it has not been subjected to bleaching.

I would just get it cut and buy some vitamins for hair growth! I think it take a couple of months for the vitamins to start working, but i've heard they help a lot and i'm sure it would make your hair healthier too! Hope everything goes well!

You will have to wait until it grows out. I would cut it.
