Spider Bite?

I have a bite on my wrist, one on my shin, and a few smaller ones (that seemed to pop up a day or two after the wrist and shin) across my chest and the same arm with the effected wrist. I have never had a bite like this before and am trying to figure out what to do. It started as a small bite that I tried to pop. It has grown in size, gotten tougher, turned purple, and as I just recently washed it and rubbed it dry with a towel the top layer of purple skin came off to look like what is pictured. There is a small white dot inside of the red and a few small bumps around the area as well. The area is raised, itchy, and - of course - stinging a little bit now that it's exposed.

HELP! I dont have insurance, surprise!, and really am just trying to make sure I don't die or lose an arm - ha.
Any home remedies or ideas about what this could be?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

Unless a spider is observed in the act of biting, it should not be assumed that a spider bite has occurred.  Many spider bites, including those by some dangerous species, are relatively painless at first and may go unnoticed if not directly observed.

Treatments for more minor bites should be as for any puncture wound. The wound should first be encouraged to bleed to wash out any foreign material and debris.  Topical antiseptics  should also be applied on the off chance that the bite introduced some virus or microbe beneath the skin level and that the antiseptic can penetrate to that depth. The bite should be observed for a couple of days so that medical attention can be sought if signs of infection appear. First aid may also involve the application of an ice pack to control inflammation, the application of aloe vera may also help.

If the condition persists, it would be best to have it further evaluated by your doctor. Take care and regards.
