Symptoms possibly linked to STD?

Hi,

I have been experiencing a few symptoms for nearly a year now. I'm hoping the MedHelp community can help me out.

Here are my symptoms:
- Burning sensation on genitals, thighs, buttocks, back and legs
- Itching genitals
- Burning urination
- Urinating more frequently than normal

Note: I have noticed two separate skin-colored bumps, on the testicles, that are slightly sticking out and that excrete white pus, followed by blood, when squeezing them. They seem to be pimples, but I could be wrong.

I discussed these symptoms with my dermatologist and he informed me that herpes makes the most sense. While I am very worried by this news, I do have my doubts because I have been tested multiple times for both HSV 1 and 2 throughout this time frame, and all those tests have returned negative. I scheduled another round of testing, just to be absolutely sure.

What could these symptoms be tied to? Thank you very much for the help, everyone.

Old post, but if your negative herpes tests were from blood samples there's still a chance of you having herpes. The virus is commonly undetectable in the blood, for those who are infected, unless there is an active outbreak. The best way to get an accurate result is to swab the sores/lesions and test the fluid.
