Weird skin rash that looks like birthmarks.

I have these weird spots around my lower region, they are about the size of dimes and they look like brown birth marks, recently they seem to have mutilpied. The new spots are red/pink but they are the same thing. They have a sort of shiny look to them, and they feel very slightly different from the skin around them. They have now reached up to my belly button. I have no idea what they could be. I have attached a picture showing the newer spots if you can see them. Please help, any help would be great :(

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it can be pityriasis rosea or pityriasis versicolor. Pityriasis rosea is a common human skin disease which presents as numerous patches of pink or red oval rash. The rash may be accompanied by low-grade headache, fever, nausea and fatigue and sometimes by itching.

No treatment is usually required. In most patients, the condition lasts only a matter of weeks or months(upto six months)

If the rash persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.Other possibilities have to be ruled out then.

I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.

I would also like to add that they do not itch, I don't even notice them unless I see them.
