I have had a rash on my feet for the past four to five years. It comes and goes and gets especially worse in the summer months.  The rash gets really itchy especially at night to the point where the skin peels and cracks and sometimes creates open sores. I've used all sorts of over the counter creams to no avail and even some medicated creams and antibiotics. Nothing works. thought it was athlete's foot but the area between toes are never affected.  Mostly the area affected is the arch of foot, the top on foot and top of the toes, if ever. I don't know what else to do I have tried everything, even some weird home remedies. Help me, I don't know what else to do!!!! Thank you

A few days ago I was watering my cucumber plants, and my arms brushed against the leaves.  My skin erupted into a rash about 10 hours later.  It has been 3 days and the rash is still there.  It is only mildy itchy, but very unsightly.  I went to the doctor, but she didn't know what to do about it, just told me to use the cream that I have for my eczema on it (temovate).  I took some benadryl, but that doesn't doesn't seem to have done anything.  I also used some rubbing alcohol on it.  It isn't open or anything, like I said just a little itchy and very unsightly.  What else can I do?  Everything else I've read about this says it will go away within a few hours, but it has been 3 days!  Help!

i have been battling a skin condition only on my face and chest.. i'm not sure if it is hormonal.. my dermatologist, says it is and had treated me for staph.. they start as a little red dot, and escalate into a painful lesion.. then it blisters and scabs and takes weeks if not months to completely go away, but not without leaving a dark scar.

For the last four or so years I have been plagued with extreme itching of the arms and shoulders.  The itching is predominately on the upper arms and inner shoulders and slightly more on the right than the left.  My arms are always bloodied and sore from the scratching.  Sheets and clothing are stained.  My doctor has prescribed various things.  As of yesterday I take100MG Trazodone and 10MG Singulair - also included are Benedryl and Melatonin.  In case the itching is so bad that I still can't sleep she has prescribed 5MG Diazepam.  It's not working tonight!!  Before yesterday I took 50MG Doxepin and 10MG Singulair along with the Benedryl and Melatonin.  That worked somewhat for a couple of months but then back to this terrible itching.  Any ideas that we might not have already tried?  Tjhanks.

For the past few weeks I have had tiny little flesh colored blisters all over my chest, neck and arms.  I have had this once before, but it went away within a couple days.  This has continued to spread and group more.  It has blanketed everywhere with no specific shapes in mind.  The blisters have clear liquid i them.  They look like pimples, but they are not red, they do not itch. They are fleshed tone and it is more annoying because it is making my skin dryer than usual.  What do you think this is?

dear doctor,

Please i have got spots (big ones) on my forehead, it started with one, i pumped it and the they reached 10 big ones. That happened in a week , and they opened all on each other and they had a transparent fluid in them. I used Oxygen water to clean it many times a day. I am so worried they r now dry but pale red colored. Knowing that last year same time i had for a whole month whitehead little spots many many around my penis, was hurting and itching and as well i use to clean it with the same product.
I am so terrified to have that again, specially that i never had anything or that kind of spots in my body. Please let me know why i had that? and how to prevent it!

I am 35 years old, oily skin.

Awaiting your fast reply,

and thank you in advance.

Abo.

I've had a problem several times over the past year with my skin cracking or tearing during sex with my wife.

The tears run across the shaft in the same direction as the wrinkles do when my penis is soft.  We wait a few days between sexual sessions but it still happens again.

The only thing different after 15 years of sex between us seems to be a yeast infection and of course, age.  I am 60.

Is it possible for a yeast infection to cause this kind of damage or weakened skin?

I have these hard rice like sticks of oil that are in my facial pores.  It started in a small cluster at the corner of my nose just above my upper lip a year ago.  At first I thought it was a cold sore because it seemed to have that appearance and then I noticed that there were these hard rice like things that if I scraped against them with my fingernail I could pull them out - however, they would not come out if you squeezed them.  Then they would eventually come back.  They have now spread and seem to be all over my face and even my neck.  What could this be.  I have lately been exfoliating way to much just to keep them from looking so bad but my skin is getting very dry - Is there any treatment for this - has anyone out there had success in treating this?

Feel free to post your questions in our main forum :)

kbmom75~ Sebum, the stuff that helps lubricate our skin can actually get stuck in pores and Keratinize (harden) so that when it finally gets pulled out it looks like a tiny grain of rice. Exfoliating will NOT get rid of these because it's literally like an Iceberg.  the part stuck in the oil gland is much bigger than the little hard bump poking out of the skin.
I get these occasionally and they are really hard to get out. sometimes tweezers can work. You should go see a dermatologist about it because he/she will have other options to use other things instead of exfoliators.

Sincerely,
Cindie

Some 44 years ago I burned my scalp with scalding hot water under a shower prior to swimming at the YMCA.  I developed a very itchy follicle infection afterwards, that grew slowly and  resulted in over 30 sores. None of the 20+ Dermatologist I visited achieved any improvement.  I tried lotions, potions, light treatments, red pulse laser light used to remove birth marks, etc.. Nothing helped.  They never took a tissue sample to analyze.

Recently I read Hydrogen Peroxide is anti-bacterial & anti-fungus.  It turns to O2 & Water when it hits the blood stream, a MD told me.

So a couple of weeks ago I started injecting a diluted solution directly into the sores.  Most of the smaller red spots cleared up, and the larger sores are showing progress.  Have you ever heard of Peroxide being used like this previously?

My Mother died from a skin cancer on her ear lobe, that grew and she was afraid of an operation for some reason.  If Hydrogen Peroxide injections had been into the sore when it was small, would it have killed the cancer?  Seems logical to me.

Already during about 1.5 month hypostasis under an eye does not disappear!

It is complexly story, I can explain shortly what happened: About 1.5 months back I was impact in area of an eye bone, first has appeared a small bluish swelling near an eye is closer to a temple, then next day it flew under an eye - and the bruise with a swelling(like hypostasis) was formed.
Then I wanted to get rid of a bruise faster and started to spread special gel against bruises - 5 times each day (during 2 days). At 3th day of using this gel I decided to stop. And after I have washed off it in shower - as usually I have smeared the face with a usual cream with ehter oils and I have received а burn of a skin in area around of eye, because after washing off of any gels against bruises it is dangerously to render a fat cream with oils - will be burn (as I have found out later). I did not begin to do anything and have gone to bed.
Next day the skin around eye became overdried and rude with some dimness. Then I have gone to a drugstore and have asked something from burns (if it was possible to render around of an eye).
But as I already was afraid to spread something - I have decided to not spread anything medical any more. I just greased area around of an eye with a children's humidifying cream (the skin overdried from burn)- at first frequently, after - less often and less often...

The skin was softened (though some dimness remained still), and the the bruise has disappeared for a long time, BUT HYPOSTASIS(SWELLING) UNDER THE EYE DOES NOT DISSAPEAR STILL. Since impact this hypostasis has not decreased at all. what that? why so long - it is normal? what the reason why the hypostasis under an eye does not dissapear - it is the same hypostasis that from impact or it is alreay from other - from any gel/creme for example? or it is a burn has affected? or because of both? what to do and not to do?

and any way - this hypostasis will disappear sometime at all?
thanx!

I have  a rash of little clear bumps that have come up on my fingers and hands.you can not tell they are there without touching, but my fingers fell swollen and they itch a little, mostly if I put in warm water.
My hands are very dry and cracking and do this every winter but never had this rash with it. I am a little concern because my grandson had some kind of infection in a sore on his chin,, Dr never would say what it was just put him on antibitics.
Since then I have had a yeast infection, (which I never get) and now this on my hands. Could it be Bacteral ?

I have extremely itchy bubble-like blisters predominantly on one index finger, but it does appear on other finger & both palms.  I also have what appears to be a different type of splotchy rash on my abdomen, forehead, chest, on the side of my left eye & on both ears.  At one time I had a rash on my eyelids but this has cleared up.  This has been going on for weeks, with varying levels of severity and it seems one area will heal & something new will pop up.  I’ve taken 2 rounds of steroids, currently using Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP, 0.1% & over the counter Hydrocortisone. I had negative results for on the T.R.U.E Patch test (29 allergens) that was performed by an Allergist. The Allergist would like for me to have blood tests my liver, kidney and thyroid function (I’m having blood drawn tomorrow).  The constant itchy, not to mention the appearance of various the various rashes/blisters is driving me crazy!  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. . . .
