White sand like skin that regenerates

Hello.I was born with sand like skin that regenerates and when i take it off it hurts and blood start coming out (not much) and when wound heals sand like skin appears again,i got it all over my left leg and foot. Its like mosaic made of milions little clumps.I went many times to a doctor but they didnt know what it is and just told me to lubricate it with some creams and that stuff.I m 17 years old and i kinda got used to it but i never wear shorts cause its a bit shameful.I hope that you can atleast tell me what it might be.Thanks in advance.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to keratosis pilaris, pemphigus or linear pororkeratosis (if arranged around a particular dermatome). I suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get a biopsy skin done to confirm the diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Possibly 'Linear Porokeratosis' from your descriptions. This occurs by birth.Treatment might be with calcipotriol creme (A dermatologist prescription only)
