Why have my mosquito bites developed rashes?

I was at a park and got pretty bitten up by mosquitos. I have around 20 bites around my body. Specific ones have developed splotchy rashes around them. One of them is on my foot, two are in my armpit, two on my arms, and one on my back. They itch the most. The rest are normal. What could be causing this? Is it possible that they weren’t mosquitos that bit me in those specific spots?

If you see a rash around a mosquito bite- you need to get it checked out by a doctor to see if it's just a more severe reaction or if there is something else going on.  I recently had to go to the hospital for some testing for something unrelated and when the nurse saw a mosquito bite on my ankle she started grilling me with questions- they are taking pretty seriously risk of  diseases and other issues from these bites, so just go get it checked out as a just in case.
