Yet Another Consuming Itch Quandary.

from my scalp to my feet/toes, i itch like crazy. while there are no rashes, necessarily, i've noticed tiny itchy bumps, some very red, others with white heads on them. it feels like there's something 'crawling' on me, especially when i lay down. the itching is worse at night. i'm in a celibacy phase & haven't had sex in two months' time. i've developed red intensely itching bumps inside my labia majora/above the clitoris. right now, under my armpits itch, the soles of my feet, my scalp, my upper-right shoulder, my legs, my left side. crawling, itching, sometimes my ears get flushed and i notice mosquito-like itching bumps on my face, around my hairline.

i've been intermittently staying in hotels.
scabies? body lice?
it's making me insane.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it can be scabies. It is an infestation of the skin with the Sarcoptes scabiei mite. Scabies may involve the webs between the fingers, the wrists or other folds of body.

It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
