"chicken skin"?

I've had non-irritating bumps on my thighs (from the hip to the knee) since I can remember. At first I thought it had to do with my leg hair, but shaving doesn't help. They look like constant goose-bumps, basically. Is there something missing in my diet that's causing this, perhaps? I had an iron-deficiency as I was growing up.
Thanks!

Sounds like Keratosis Pilaris
Here's a website with a picture:

I've had this my whole life (arms/legs, etc), not that attractive but not dangerous or anything.

Actually, I believe the condition is actually called Chicken Skin (not sure of the medical term, however!)  It is attributed to dry skin and I do know that there are some over the counter products for it.
