hard bump on front of thigh

I have a small bump on the front of my thigh, that is flush with the skin and feels like a its about the size of a small wart, but its on the under side of the skin. It is not red or does not hurt. Its not bothersome but I want to get rid of it. When you squeeze on it it makes a dimple in the skin inward. Its the only one I have, what is it? and how do I get rid of it?  Also, I tried putting a pimple med on it to see if that would get rid of it but it has not.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be a cyst or a benign growth like dermatofibroma. It usually develops after an insect bites(arthropod bite) and involves the leg. It occurs as a solitary nodule and is a benign lesion. No treatment is usually required but for cosmetic appearance you can get it surgically resected.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

This is possibly a 'dermatofibroma'. Nothing to worry. What you demonstrated is known as 'Dimple sign'. Could be removed or left alone.Dermatofibroma is a common cutaneous nodule of unknown etiology that occurs more often in women. Do consult your doc.
