Only Scabies carrier not affected..posssible?

My situation goes like this...Since the past 2 years i only had sex with one woman..my girlfriend

i had sex with my girlfriend 8 months ago, right after that she went out of town for  a long period.. 2 weeks later  after she had left i had intense itching at nights in the legs and groin area i was diagnosed with scabies, got treated, became normal.

when she got back after 8 months, had sex with her again got scabies again in 2-3 days symptoms started showing, intense itching, etc

She never showed any symptoms of scabies, no itching, nothing, she is perfectly normal, then and now,  she thinks i am cheating on her.. which is not true..is it possible she can only be a carrier for scabies and not affected? please help!

Hi,
Scabies move from person to person by close contact, often during sex. You can also catch scabies by sharing clothing, bedding, or towels with someone who has them.
Itching usually begins about five days after you’ve been bitten, and is concentrated wherever you have pubic hair.
It is best to get your partner too treated because she might be carrying it in spite of having no itching or other obvious symptoms.
About 10 days after infestation the skin develops an allergic reaction, although a carrier can pass them along before that point.
If you don’t get treated for  Scabies, they won’t go away, and the severe itching will continue.
