Itchies all over

I am 37 yrs old and for 2 1/2 weeks have been extremely itchy everywhere except my face and privates. It seems to take every bit of my will power to keep from itching at night, and takes several hours to doze off. Iv tried allergy pills and creams that fail to give relief. My stools seem to be softer and sometimes runny as well. But no other symptoms. I cant think of any new products or food that Iv had, to cause an allergy. The other night I just lost it and scratched my arms and legs for a good 20 minutes, then turned on the light to find white bumps on red skin where Id scratched. Otherwise there dosnt seem to show any sign of rash unless I scratch. No one in my family has contracted it, so I guess this isnt contagious(thank goodness). Please, do you have any idea to help relieve me? Its just awful!

Hi,

How are you doing now? Have the lesions resolved?

You could apply calamine lotion at the site and see if it helps.

You could take oral antihistamine medications for a few days and see if it helps with your symptoms. Avoid sun exposure and cosmetic products. Use a medicated sun screen. Wear lose , comfortable clothes.

If the lesions still persist talk to your doctor about it and see what needs to be done after a proper clinical examination.

Let us know if you have any other doubts or queries.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

Iv talked with a friend who does homeopathics and owns his own store and he told me to try silica or sulfer with a detoxifying tea as sometimes toxins build up and come to the surface of the skin and itch. No other allergy pills or creams have worked and this stuff he recommended is inexpensive so I'll give them a try. Thanks for your reply. If it dosnt help then I might resort to the doc's office.

Hi,

You could be having an allergic reaction to some substance, dermatitis or eczema or skin hypersensitivity.

What other symptoms are you having? Let us also know if you have any past history of any allergic reaction or any family history of allergies, etc.
