My baseline has moved

I'm getting a little worried. After I was diagnosed type2 I was put on glimeperide and metformin and through that and diet got my a1c down to 5.2. My daily bgl levels were around 80 to 110 most of the time. But with in the last week or so it seems like my baseline has moved 10-20 points. We're my normal pre eating bgl would've been around 90 before, I can't get it to go below 100 lately. I haven't changed ANYTHING and can't understand it.

Hi.  Diabetes can be a progressive condition, so it may worsen over time, even with your best efforts.

Another thing that may affect BG levels is illness / infection - even mild ones.  For example an oral infection, fighting off the flu.

You can try increasing physical activity / reducing carbs, which may help.  If levels still remain elevated, you may wish to discuss treatment options with your Dr.
