Metformin ER

Hello,
I have been taking metformin ER since May and notice a few symptoms, is anyone on metformin ER experiencing the same? It started with burning sensation on my ears that they look RED! That moved to side of my face and will appear for an hour and go away. I have trouble breathing I feel like I have to catch my breath sometimes or feel as if someone is pushing on my chest.
I have been on several diabetic pills usually have a allergic reaction to some that is why it's been so many. I'm feeling overwhelmed and not sure what else to do. I see my dr tommorow but just curious if anyone has same symptoms . Also feel unhappy with it all.

I'd suggest speaking to your health care professional.

The unhappiness could be from being diagnosed.  I'd guess that was normal but you need to know that help is out there.  Start with your doctor and go from there.
