Thank you April. I'll try them, especially the ones that gets rid of the ants. We didn't get these ants till we got new neighbors. Maybe they travel with pests lol
There's several different things you can try without using harsh chemicals. We use yellow cornmeal a lot. The ants eat it and it expands inside their stomachs, killing them. Cream of wheat or grits also works.
You can also try baby powder or borax, although borax can be harmful to cats. If you sprinkle cinnamon where you don't want the ants they won't cross the line. It doesn't kill them but it does make them go elsewhere. I've also heard white vinegar mixed with water works. I haven't tried that.
Try a few out and see what works and let us know! Hope you find something that works for you. I know how pesty those ants can be. We get them in our yard, driveway, etc. We don't usually get them in the house, thank goodness. Anyway, hope one of these works for you. :)
