Husky howling.

So i do live out in the country. i live in california and its starting to get very cold where i live. they usually howl at the coyotes or when they hear sirens. but lately i don't hear any of those and they howl all the time now. does anyone know what it could possibly be? have you huskys ever done this. any opinions. thank you

i dont. no there both. but they love to be outside running around so there out during the day. and in at night time. but they will howl a llll night. its not annoying. it just scares me and i think there in pain. but thank you :)

I am no Husky expert but know a little about the breed.  Huskies howl, just part of their behavior.  Add to that, if you have more than one (a pack) if one starts the others will likely follow.  They often communicate this way and they may be seeing or smelling something you are not aware of.
Are these strictly outside dogs?
This is really a breed that needs activity.  I suggest you give them some good physical exercise once or twice a day, long walks/runs, vigorous play in the yard, etc.
Do not respond or cater to them if they are howling or they will quickly figure out that gets them attention.  When they are quiet, praise and interact with them.
Just suggestions and Huskies do howl.  :-)
