Happy Thanksgiving!

I include all my critters in the holidays and Turkey Day is no exception.  They get the real thing for dinner on Thanksgiving as a substitute for their usual fare - and they know exactly what to expect, the little buggers!  They even circle the refrigerator while the bird is defrosting. Roasting day becomes a dance of death with both dogs weaving around my ankles.

Here's my Public Service Message to dog owners:  keep the treats to turkey only.  Too much in the way of fatty giblets or side dishes can easily bring on vomiting and diarrhea if not outright pancreatitis.  If your dog has a sensitive tummy to begin with or is in very old age, it's probably best to avoid Thanksgiving fare altogether.  Otherwise - enjoy!
