My DOG!

My husband and i (yes we are not getting a divorce) have this Dog which originally belongs to my little brother she is five years old and comes from the same litter as my dog everyone pays a lot of attention to her but its never enough i feel so bad for her but its like every time i try to pay attention to my dog she will try and push him out of the way and he gets really mad when i pay attention to other dogs and not him (he is only like that with me) Charlotte is the dogs name when every i pet her or tell her she is a good girl for something she takes it to the next level and has to claw at me make me pet her get  in my lap then try and lick my face  first off can not stand that! her breathe smells plus she licks her self all the time and she tries to lick my mouth we all try my husband me and his brother all try and pay attention to our other dog Troubles and she will run up and push her way between us and him she will not leave my side like she is way to needy for attention and i don't know what to do she has always been like this since she was 1 maybe 2 because when she was a puppy my little brother gave her his undivided attention and now she is older he screams and yells at everyone about him having to always take care of her so that's why she is with me and not him so any idea on how to make her understand that the way she is acting is bad to get from being soooo spoiled

Yes, obedience training!  This dog obviously has no structure or limits.  It will take a while, but with patience and cicsistency, I'm sure this can be resolved.  You need to be the pack leader.  Do you have any obedience classes available in your area?  This will give you the basics but you must reinforce training daily at home and the reward system will probably work best.  Do some Googke searches fir basic obedience training or NILF information.  You might check out Caesar Milan's web site.  Good luck
