Poison

My black Lab puppy was chewing on a Benzonate Capsule . I'm not sure how long it was laying on floor or if he ingested any of it . I took it out of his mouth . He threw up twice right after he was chewing on it. Is this med poisoning for him ,I 'm not sure if he even got any. Thanks for any help.

I think your best bet is to call your vet now.  Even though the clinic is closed, there should be an outgoing message telling you who to call with an emergency.  Once you call the ER vet, tell them exactly what your puppy ingested.  If you have the package label they'll probably need to know all the ingredients.  Since he's already thrown up, hopefully he never absorbed enough to really harm him.  Best get a vet's opinion tonight though!
