I'm having trouble training our dog not to jump on me. Does anyone have any tips on how to train our dog not to jump on me?
Ignoring or turning your back on the dog consistently is a good suggestion. You might try some basic obedience training starting with a Sit command then reward.
the trainer we see for our 8 month old pup says to ignore the behavior. If you do not respond to them they will eventually stop. So far we have had a lot of success with this. We have a little terrior and she loves to jump on us until we didn't respond to her. Don't say anything or look at your dog and if you keep doing this hopefully it will help in your situation too
