Tractor Supply Dog Food

I stopped by TC today to pick up a can of "Taste of the Wild" wet dog food.  Our Westie may be allergic to beef and chicken so I was looking for fish as the first component.  We feed him Taste of the Wild Salmon and Sweet Potato Kibble.  This brand has good ratings on the Dog Food Adviser.  

TC carries TOW dog food but did not have any fish based wet canned dog food.  It is rather expensive too I will note, $2  for a 13.5 oz can.

Looking further I foundl "4 Health" Salmon and Potato wet dog food in a 13.2 oz can for $1 a can. I shows Salmon as the 1st ingredient and states No wheat, corn or soy... but doesn't claim "no grain".  But, it is wheat and corn that I am most concerned about from nourishment and allergy points-of-view.

Looking on Dog Food Adviser I find 4 Health is not listed.  Looking more carefully on the can it appears the food is a TC dog food.  That's okay with me and I feel the label information is complete enough for me to give it a try.. but welcome any experience-based or test-based inputs... maybe I overlooked it on the "adviser".

Found the problem, a very picky search engine.

4health it found, 4 health it didn't find.

I was happy to see 4.5 Stars, very high, sad to find they did not evaluate or even list the fish formula.  I can only hope the quality carries to all formulations.

Must be my old eyes, or lack of skill in using the search "engine"... thanks I'll look again.  I was disappointed the food is soft solid, not chunks in gravy. But, I added a little water making it thin enough to stir in the kibble and "Wilson" liked it - or at least ate it : )

Hum, Advisor or Adviser?  My spell check (Firefox) likes the second, but no matter, I got to the Advisor web site anyway.
