What is the best food to give a dog who has cushings

My 10 year old Shi-tzu has developed cushings. He hasn't got all the symptoms and is on trilostne. I want to help him as much as I can so he doesn't develop the worse symptoms. Does anyone have information about the best food to give a dog who has cushings. Thanks

Our dog had Cushings, but I have no idea if there is a food that is better for your dog.  You sound like you got the disease diagnosed early, which is very good.  My suggestion would be to give your dog a grain free, top dog food, possible Evo or Taste of the Wild, or Orijen.  They have less junk and fillers in them, which I feel is healther for the dog.

Thanks for that I will try some. H seems to be ok at the moment. Just had a blood test which is nearly normal. He is a little unsteady on his feet sometimes as though he has had too much wine. The vet seems to think his dose of vetoryl is a bit too high at the moment. Thanks

He may have weakness in his legs on and off, when he does, just carry him outside if necessary.  I think the vetorly should be started at a very low dose and work your way up.  I wouldn't be too worried about what he eats, as long as hes eating, thats what counts.
