brain tumor

My dog is 13 years old and lately is shaking her head alot.
The Vet suspected a brain tumor but the MRI didn't show it.
She cries when you touch her neck and head and he also suggested it might be menegitis.
She is on Prednozone
any comments would be appreciated

I assume that an ear infection was ruled out?  And/or arthritis in the neck area? I think either of these would be more common for a 13yr. old. Hope this gives you some other ideas.....Is the pred helping her?  It would help with any kind of inflamation. I wish you and her well...Let us know.........Karla

I am so sorry to hear about the distress your little friend is going through...
I don't have any suggestions for you, but I am sure someone will read this and post a comment that may help you...
What kind of dog do you have?? Did the vet say, how she could have gotten the menegitis?
Hopefully, the vet and someone reading this site will further help you.....please give your little friend a big hug for me...Much luck to you and yours...
