weird giggly area under dogs armpit

i want to know why my dog has a giggly baggy area under his right armpit its like a sandwich  bag filled with water, should i be worried about it? why did this happen. he is a pit bull he turns 1 on june 19 he spends all night inside and during the day he's in and out.

yes, I've checked but he has had some red itchy spots on his tummy , rear end and in armpits i don't know if that has anything to do with it i bought him a hot spot spray to calm the itchiness down. and I'm taking him wednesday  to his appointment

Yes, that is unusual.  Did you check the area thoroughly to see if there is a bite mark or any sign something us stuck in that area?
Could be a cyst or lipoma?
Any suspicious lumps should be checked by your Vet.

This does sound unusual, and in my opinion, you need to take him to the vet to find out what the swelling is. It may not be causing him pain, but might be indicative of some other health problem. It needs checking I think.
