My dog quit eating her normal food.

I have 3 yr old dog and lately I have noticed she won't touch her food. I've been watching her closely this week and she's hasn't eaten in at least 2 days, she'll still play with me some but not as much as she used to and acts a little different. In the last few months we've been through a few changes like one of our other dogs died, we moved into an apt (she's all ways been inside tho) and my fiancee got a job in another city and has been gone. I'm not sure if I should try to change her food or encourage her more to eat the normal food.

Check your puppy for worms! I would suggest asking the vet for a multi-wormer.
There is another possibilty, and that is your little dog has an infection....Parvo Virus is common in un-vaccinated dogs especially of young age. So is Distemper. Those are both very serious diseases, but there are other possibilities, such as enteritis.

Can you buy canned pumpkin where you live? If your dog is eating then that's a good sign, and maybe he is not too sick... maybe suffering from constipation and possible intestinal parasites. If you can try canned pumpkin that will help him to pass a bowel movement. Otherwise pieces of apple can help with that. Be very careful not to give him the apple seeds as they are posonous for dogs.

Another idea is to try a probiotic supplement (which provides natural intestinal "good" bacteria which are needed for proper digestion. LIVE (or "active") yogurt contains these. But many dogs are lactose-intolerant and yogurt doesn't always suit them. The best option is a pro-biotic supplement tablet, crushed and sprinkled into their food.

But my instinct feels that he may have intestinal parasites. Ask the vet about that. A stool sample should show quite quickly, if that is the case.

I would also take her in for a check up.  It would be worth the peace of mind.

She may be going through depression with all the changes. You could try adding a little broth or water to her food (if it's dry).   I would recommend taking her to the vet to rule out an illness though.
