Its the middle of the night, we have a 10 week old chiweenie. The past couple of days she has been holding her ear at an odd angle & loves it when we rub/massage this ear. Tonight, we got back in bed after potty time & she was sitting/laying near my calves under the covers. All of the sudden there is a large enough wet spot for me to think she peed. She starts shaking her head repeatedly & I notice wet fur on her shoulder of the same side the ear has been bothering her on. It was still dripping fluid at that time. As far as I can tell, there wasn't really any color to the fluid, she's been eating & acting fine other than holding her ear at an odd angle. It does have a slight yeasty smell to it & it did look Luke there was pus/something of texture in the center of the pool of fluid. I'm thinking she has an ear infection, water got trapped in her ear & built up to the point of release or she burst her eardrum. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance
