I have a daughter with Down's who is 30 and has keratoconus in both eyes and cataracts in both eyes also. She's had it for about 4 years now. It is so hard for me because although she is very verbal she doesn't say anything about her eye sight and it is hard to know how she can see things. She sees an eye specialist every six months and he says nothing can be done right now except for contacts and that is just out of the question for her. Anyone else going through this?
