2 soft markers for Downs Syndrome

I am currently 19 weeks pregnant. I was told yesterday that my ultrasound from last week came back showing not one but two soft markers for DS or worse. I have to go for a level two ultrasound. Possibly an amniocentesis. They found cysts on my babies brain and that  baby also has an enlarged kidneys. I am nervous. This is baby number four for me . All my other pregnancies were healthy and uncomplicated.  They ended with full term deliveries.  I am only 30  so not high risk. What could this mean. What's the chance of major chromosomal disorder in my family now. Is it because this baby has a different father??? I'm freaking out.

Hiya I'm 20 now and my son has Down's syndrome the main marker I had was extra fluid behind his neck his kidneys were fine the whole way through my pregnacy they weren't enlarged once and I had to be scaned every three to four weeks as I previously miscarried and was considered high risk. Do you no if it's a boy or a girl as sometimes boys have little blockages in the urinary tract that are nothing to worry about.

I too have a baby with possible downs because of markers and I'm going for a follow-up ultrasound this Thursday. I freaked out and my doctor reassured me saying it's not until your late thirties until it becomes more common so chances are low and a large number of markers they see the baby grows out of on the womb. I hope that helps! Best wishes
