Passing out?

Hi, I am 13 and I am 5'3 and I weigh 107 and I suffer from anorexia, NOBODY KNOWS, and I ate only one meal a day for the past week and sometimes nothing at all, I passed out in the kitchen a few minuets ago and I was only out for like 5 seconds and I ate a sandwich, I still am hungry I can't eat I feel too guilty. My family doesn't understand anything about eating disorders so I never said anything. I wanna get thin for summer and I feel so worthless I don't know what is happening I just need someone to help me. When I start eating I always relapse.

I had ana since I was 11 and I had issues with my weight since I was 7.

thanks everyone for listening. but how do I become normal?

Hi JustListen,

I am so, so, so sorry that you are struggling alone. You shouldn't be. Eating disorders thrive on silence and secrecy and that is what is happening, but it doesn't have to be that way.

Please, please - I say this as a recovered person - please tell someone. It breaks my heart that you are passing out and struggling like this and no one knows. Can you get yourself to a school nurse? your general doctor? a school counselor? Is there any way you can let a family member know what is going on?

It is impossible to see from inside of the illness, I know - but you are worth it, you deserve help, you have nothing to be ashamed of and you don't need to hide. Please, speak. Tell SOMEONE so that you can have access to the help you need. It is incredibly hard if not impossible to do it all by yourself. Of course there would be relapse after trying - of course. That is why you need help.

Take a look at http://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org/find-help-support to see what help is in your area. There are also Facebook recovery and resourceful groups you can join to connect with others and seek insight into recovery.

Please contact me for any further help. I would love to help guide you toward the next step of your WELL-DESERVED AND WARRANTED recovery. You SHOULD NOT be alone as you are, ESPECIALLY if you're having medical complications like this. It is imperative that you get both physically and psychologically evaluated and treated asap - because you deserve it.

Much love and care to you,
Jenn
