Endometriosis - birth control no longer helping?

I was diagnosed with endo last year and had a miserable time until I went on birth control. It worked amazingly for about 6 months - no cramps, nausea, fever, stomach issues. But for the last week all my symptoms have come back even though I'm still on the birth control as usual. I just started taking the pill continuously and haven't had a period for two months but I don't see how that would affect things. Is it normal for birth control to suddenly lose effect?

No it is most likely due to the Endo not being Excised out and removed by ablation. When it is excised it gets to the root and if its ablation it only gets the surface of the disease. So it is most likely that during your surgery it was not removed the right way so the pill would not be as effective. I would suggest trying a different BCP such as marvelon and see if that helps if not I would find an Endo specialist that can help properly remove the disease.
