Missed my honeymoon due to pain- please help!

I'm hoping that somebody can help me with some advice. I have endo and have had 3 operations so far, the last being Jan 2015. I got married on Thursday and our plan was to go on our honeymoon, and take the mirena coil I have in, out. Then start trying for children, as all the doctors say that this may help to reduce pain (obviously thats not the only reason we want kids).
So, we got to the airport on Saturday morning to go on holiday, got through security etc and then I ended up in severe pain. Long story short, paramedics took me to hospital and we missed our flight. Luckily we have insurance but I'm stuck with what to do here ladies.
The question is - do I take out my coil now and hope that helps to reduce the pain? Do I leave the coil in and hope that in the next few days everything will calm down and we can go?

Im bleeding for the first time in 3 years- on day 13 now, and Im wondering if the coil is failing. Does anyone have any advice, please?! My husband is being so patient, loving and supportive but I want him to get our honeymoon and enjoy himself. Just not sure whether the coil is doing this to me or whether the end has spread!

Thank you for your comments. What a week it has been! I spent 3 days in hospital due to pain and eventually earlier today, my doctor removed the mirena coil. Very painful removal as the strings had gone up, and so retrieving them was a tricky business. I'm experiencing cramping which I've been told is completely normal, but the original pain has gone! Seriously - such a relief! Thats the last time i'm getting the coil!

I think it would be best to get that answer from your doctor.

I would suggest though that you seek out an Endo specialist to possibly get better answers/treatment.

Many people have a bad reaction to the coil being in and when taking it out. It is possible that your body is reacting to it coming out and could take a couple of months to regulate your period.

It sounds like you need another lap. My endo usually comes back in 2 years or less. I've had 3 laps for it with cauterization.I don't think you are supposed to get your period with the Mirena IUD if that's what you are referring too. I didn't. It's possible that it's causing your pain. It could have shifted or something inside you although rare. Go to your doctor ASAP is my advice.
