concerened girlfriend

hello everyone, Iv spent hours on the internet trying my best to find some information to shed some light on what happened tonight, I have been with my boyfriend for 4 years, we have two children together & usually everything in the bedroom is great! he usually has an erection before we even make it to the bedroom, but tonight took him what seemed like hours to finally get an erection, & when he did it seemed as if he needed to finish asap incase he lost it. I don't want to talk to him about it just yet because it has never happened before but I wanna see if any other guy or girl may have had the same problem & also how I may go about asking him what may be causing this, he's only 24 years old & I understand it can happen at any age, we have a very good sex life but I'm a little worried that this May turn out to be something more then an occasional problem, I don't want to make him feel like he's doing anything wrong because he certainly isn't, so any help or advice that anyone out there may have would be so greatly apreciated !!

What happened is completely normal.  He may have been tired, stressed about something, or otherwise distracted with everyday life issues at the time.  If this situation would turn into an every-time thing, then there would be more to it.
