Again, folks, carbs are the biggest category of foods we need to be eating for health and energy. So when you say no carbs, do you mean no vegetables? They're carbs. Do you mean no complex carbs? Where are you going to get your energy from? So describe your diet in more detail, maybe someone can help you better then.
I agree with Paxiled. Complex carbs are your friends! They break down into glucose which is what every cell on your body runs on. What is your diet and exercise routine like?
EAT your fruits! Don't drink them.
Their fiber slows down insulin response.
Excess carbs, end up in fat storage, so consume mainly
complex carbs but within reason.
Increase quality oil consumption like virgin coconut oil
(always use coconut oil for cooking as it does not alter with heat), no mercury fish oils, fresh extra virgin olive oil (not heated), avocados, etc. Avoid like the plague margarine , canola, soy, corn and vegetable oils.
They are ALL pro-inflammatory!
Coconut oil is utilized like carbs, except it does not cause an insulin response, as it is processed by the liver and used directly as energy.
So clean your cupboards from all the junk and unhealthy
items and replace them with only the healthiest things you can buy.
Diet alone is not going to cut it.
You need to add some physical activity, including some weight bearing exercise.
For you ladies who are concerned with adding bulk, it just won't happen unless you train like a professional body-builder. Just do 3 x weekly a light to medium weight-resistance routine.
By converting part of your fat weight into muscle weight
will also benefit by burning extra calories, even when you sleep, lol!
Cheers,
Niko
