How long does it take for B12 symptoms to go away?? I have been taking B12 since November 2011 I started in pill form then in April of 2012 I went to an injection once a month.. Well my symptoms never got better so I went to a neuro who did MRI/MRA it was normal.. He said B12 was my issues so he put me on B12 shots for 5 days then once a week then once a month.. I felt normal when I took it for the 5 days but crashed after that. Then when I took the shot the following week I felt good the next couple days then crashed again.. I just took one Thursday felt good fri sat sun and crashed on Monday..

I really think twice a week would be good I tried the pill with the shots but the pills do not work even the once you put under the tongue didnt do anything.. My b12 level was 286.. I had surgery in 2011 and neuro said with my B12 low that it messed my CNS up..

Symptoms are
Off feeling in the head.
Blurry vision with ghost images. ( Vision was fine before surgery)
When I squeeze things I shake
I always feel jittery in the legs..

I have been tested for everything blood test wise.. Still no answers I have felt bad for 18 months.. I do feel some relief with the b12 shot but after 2 or 3 days I crash again..

Have you been seen by an Endocrinologist?
A natural way to raise the body's testosterone levels safely include supplementing the diet with specific nutrients and physical exercise.
Take a B-complex vitamin supplement that includes folic acid, vitamin B5, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 to increase testosterone production. These nutrients are important in protein and fat metabolism for the manufacture of this hormone. Eat foods that contain these vitamins, including avocados, eggs, fish and wheat germ.
Increase zinc in your diet to raise testosterone levels. Take a daily zinc supplement. Foods like shellfish, prawns and oysters that are high in this mineral.
Take 500 mg of fish oil once or twice every day, as recommended by your doctor. Fish oil contains omega 3 fatty acids and other nutrients which help to decrease sex hormone binding globulin, or SHBG. SHBG is a protein that captures or binds to testosterone in the blood, lowering availability of the hormone. Regular strenuous exercise, such as resistance training, weight lifting and endurance running to increase testosterone levels.
Eat foods that increase testosterone production. eggs, tomatoes, red peppers, cruciferous vegetables, alfalfa sprouts, apples and pineapples.
Reduce saturated fat, sugary and processed foods. These foods reduce testosterone levels in the body. Talk to your doctor about what I posted

What is your age? Are you over age 45, Are you on acid blocking meds,
Are a vegetarian, do you have digestive problems, Are you or have you been anemic, have digestive problems or low stomach acid, take diabetes drugs.

Most B12 products even the B12 injections is cyanocobalamin and it is made from a cyanide molecule attached to a cobalamin (B12) molecule. Cyanide is a toxic poison that the body cannot metabolize, and over time, it can accumulate in brain tissues.
You should take a supplement made with the methylcobalamin form of B12, which has been shown to be the safest and most effective. Most experts recommend taking a minimum of 1,000 mcg a day of sublingual methylcobalamin. Higher dosages per day are sometimes required to bring levels back up to an optimal level and to restore energy, mental function and mood balance. I suggest trying MAX-B12 brand.
Speak to your doctor first.
