Hi,
How are you? I don't think what you mentioned is something to worry. It is quiet obvious that after exercise there is increased blood supply to the organ and skin is no exception for that.
After any exercise there is an increase in heart beat and there by an increase in blood flow to all parts of the body including skin.
Is the reddening of the face appearing in any other situation like after eating something, being exposed to some dust etc? Is this reddening accompanied by anything else? Like rash, weeping lesions etc.
If nothing else except reddening of the face is present, that too after exercise, I don't think it should be of concern.
All the best.
Hi
There is a condition called Exercise urticaria characterized by itching, or hives on the legs, arms, chest or neck during or after exercise.
Sometimes the symptoms may be related to the ingestion of certain foods before exercise, in which case you should stop eating it for some duration and see if the hives stop. You should always accompany your kids during exercise to see whether they face any other symptoms.
You may consult your doctor for some antihistamines for relief. Most symptoms can be controlled by taking certain antihistamines prior to exercise as prescribed by your doctor. Even then if symptoms start, you should either slow down or stop exercise. Very rarely your doctor may advise to avoid certain types of exercise.
Do write in if you need any other information.
