Roller skating or walking????

The weather is getting warm!! YAY!!! I want to start roller skating. Something new and fun! I walk alot, as my main exercise.Does anyone know, does it burn more calories and fat, then walking? My time is so limited :( so I want to get the most out of my time and work out. If you know let me know! I may just buy them anyway...It sounds like a blast!!! LOL!!

Thank You Dr. Vinod...I recieved my roller skates today. Tired them on and took off! It felt like old times. Minus the Disco lights,loud music and the cute boys! It was a BLAST!!! I do plan on walking one day,With hand weights. Working up my heart rate. And skateing the next. Not with the weights.Am sure that could be a health hazard. Hoping that this will kick in my weight loss,and I will lose the last 60lbs. :o)

Hello!

Roller skating is sure a calorie burner but if you are overweight and want to lose extra calories to come into proper BMI levels then you have to consider a more sustained cardio.

Measure your BMI and if you fall in normal ranges then you sure can do roller skating and stay absolutely fit.
